Debuting in October 2007, the leaked sex tape involving her daughter Kim and Ray J generated a buzz for the family reality series. In 2012, Kris signed a $40 million deal with the E! Network to ensure more KUWTK seasons. Being the momager of her children entitles her to a 10% cut of their profits.
In October 2017, the Kardashians signed a new three-year contract with E! Entertainment. This follows its last renewal which was in 2015. The contract will keep the show on the air until at least 2020. According to a few sources, the new Kardashian deal is worth just under $100 million.
Nevertheless, US entertainment websites including gossip site TMZ say that the family is pocketing $30 million per season – for 5 seasons, which comes to $150 million which is a huge raise from the last contract.
